A rare and fully restored RHD Series 2 Roadster, reacquired from a large collection.

• Built in January 1969, this E-Type is one of just 776 right-hand drive S2 Roadsters built before the introduction of the Series 3 V12.

  In 1973 the Roadster was sold to just its second owner, before being passed on to his stepson in the early ‘90s. It was at this point that the full restoration began with marque specialists leaving no stone unturned with the body, replacing any panels that could not be restored to the owner’s high standards. The whole car and all components received equal detailed attention and, quite appropriately, the odometer was zeroed upon completion.

  This third owner covered just 6,000 miles in the E-Type before we were able to acquire it in 1999. A respected collector and long-time Eagle client then bought the E-Type from us and it has resided in his impressive stable of cars for the last near-16 years.

• In this long-term ownership the car was professionally and thoroughly maintained by the client’s in-house mechanics and has covered only a further 6,000 miles, bringing the total mileage from restoration to just 12,275 miles.
