Most will agree that a bright red 'flat floor' roadster personifies the Jaguar E-Type to perfection. This is a stunning example of just that and is a supremely collectable possesion that is not only indisputably recognized as artwork - but it can be well and truly used and enjoyed as well.
It was supplied new to a Dr E.W George of Calfornia, USA, in December of 1961 and was impeccably restored in its later years to such a high standard that it has won several Concours since.
The standard of craftsmanship and finish is outstanding and its appearance is breathtaking. Care has been taken to ensure that the early original details are fully retained such as the separate bonnet louvre panels.
It has a huge and impressive history file that includes many photographs of the professional restoration and also of its Concours history. There is a thick file of receipts, Concours certificates and a service log.
It is currently left drive but, as with all our E-Types, can be expertly converted to right drive if required.

Manufactured in the first year of production, this early roadster perfectly celebrates the milestone 50th anniversary of the Jaguar E-Type.
