An outstanding early coupe restored and uprated to an exciting GT specification.

It remains in its original and superb factory colour combination of Opalescent Gunmetal Grey with Red leather.  The heritage certificate confirms the right hand drive origin and shows that the factory chassis and engine number have been preserved.

It has been fully restored to an ultra high standard and the process is comprehensively logged and photographed. It subsequently has a full service history with us and has been maintained without compromise.

The service history is also very well recorded and includes full ownership records from when new. Everything about this E-Type from the execution of the work done to the documented records is meticulous and precise.

The engine has benefitted from an expert rebuild and tune by Rob Beere and includes gas flowing, performance cams and balancing etc. It is running on a bank of triple Weber carburetors that add to the excitement.

It was one of a pair of very special E-Types that were restored at the same time by a discerning E-Type enthusiast. The sister car to this GT coupe is a standard roadster and the story is nicely told in a big magazine feature which is included in the history.
