A joy to drive
A collectors dream, an enthusiasts dream, a drivers dream.
This gorgeous Coupe is un-restored and in utterly stunning condition. It remains in its original specification except for the radio which has been converted to FM and a set of new period 'competetion offset' chrome wire wheels. It also remains an absolute joy to drive and the engine and ride is astonishingly smooth and quiet.
The history file is impeccable and substantiates the very low mileage of 26,945 since supplied in Guildford, Surrey in 1965.
Every wallet, handbook, service coupon book etc. is present along with detailed service records and letters from its few former keepers – which include John Coombes himself. It was originally supplied by him and he then bought it back in 1972 to be a part of his St Catherines House collection.
It is hard to think of a more appealing colour combination than this original Jaguar dark blue with red and the untouched leather has masses of charm and alure.
It has quite clearly always been kept in the very best hands and must surely be one of the best-preserved and finest original E-Types left in existence.

A very special car representing a very special opportunity.

Unrestored, original, low mileage & stunning condition. A truly special Series 1 Coupe that is a collector, enthusiast and drivers dream.
