Restored in 2001 this stunning coupe has since covered only 35,595 miles. The condition remains absolutely stunning and is a testament to the high standard of workmanship.

The specification upgrades were conducted here at Eagle in 2008 and draw from our GT and Classic packages. The Classic upgrades introduce maximum reliability, durability and versatility and the Eagle GT specification provides enhanced capability in all road conditions and we considered it to offer the perfect balance for a touring E-Type.

The history is incredible and every service receipt from new has been beautifully catalogued. Reading through the four large folders and photograph albums paints a detailed picture of the life of this coupe in the care of its enthusiastic American owner who imported from new and owned the car for the first 24 years of its life. It shows that throughout his long ownership he lived at the same address, used the same garage regularly for service work and drove the car consistently throughout his entire ownership.

The detailed history extends through its life in the UK. The restoration through 2000 and 2001 is also well photographed and documented. The last 3 years of this coupes life were spent on the Isle of Man and it left the mainland having just had its engine rebuilt by us to our ‘GT’ specification. It has subsequently done little over a thousand miles on the island so remains fresh and can now be considered ‘run in’ and ready for action.
