A very beautiful and desirable E-Type.

An absolute full restoration was undertaken by XK Engineering on behalf of the late Tom Walkinshaw himself. 

There is a comprehensive photographic record of the work which shows how totally comprehensive the project was. Restoration was completed in 1993 and it is a testament to the high standard of workmanship that this E-Type remains in breathtaking condition today.

Tom Walkinshaw specified a black hide interior with red piping and this has now settled beautifully and looks 'just right'. Every element of this car has very clearly been greatly cared for through subsequent years and it has been garaged in ideal de-humidified conditions. 

The light but regular use it has experienced has also been beneficial to the condition.

This E-type is well featured in Philip Porters 'The Iconic E-Type' publication as part of a fabulous fashion shoot by Abigail Humphries. It is also the cover car for the book.
