Martin Brundle's Roadster is now available. 

I dropped into Eagle one day and happened to see a 30,000 mile 1974 red E type V12 roadster with good history and provenance, and which Henry had just taken in. I road tested it and bought it there and then, a true impulse purchase.

Eagle tuned the car further with many of their world famous performance upgrades and reliability improvements. Now it accelerates, turns, and stops very well, and is a comfortable match for today’s traffic. I wanted a car that I could trust on long journeys, not just for a Sunday morning cruise because I don’t often have that luxury.

I took 99MB to the Belgian Grand Prix which made a great feature for BBCF1 along with Jake Humphrey. The car also recently completed the official 50th anniversary celebration run from the Jaguar factory to the Geneva motor show via Goodwood, Reims, and Dijon. Together we were also featured in the official 50th anniversary book.

I’m selling it now because Eagle are building me a bespoke E Type which I’m very much looking forward to. Meanwhile this V12 is absolutely sorted, serviced, and ready to go. I hope you have as much pleasure with it as I did.

This excellent example of a Series 3 V12 Roadster has a genuine low mileage of just 32,380 from new.

A copy of the film mentioned above is included in the comprehensive history file and it also features in the beautiful official anniversary collectors book; "E-Type 50 - Fifty years of a design icon" a signed copy of which will be included.

Before this more recent and appealing addition to its history It had only one owner from new in 1974 to 1987, and in that time covered only 11,625 miles in total. It has clearly always been the pride and joy of each owner and has been very well kept and looked after, as the wealth of original documentation, MOTs and service records substantiate.

Indeed, the excellent history file even includes the original service stamp book and the log books from the total of three previous owners.This E-Type is well known to us at Eagle as we have been responsible not only for the servicing but also the upgrades that help make this car a superb tourer.

We decided that such an excellent example would benefit from our unique approach to enhancing the E-Type, and so this E-Type incorporates our full 'Eagle Classic' package including all of our reliability options and some of our Eagle Sport Performance upgrades.

The specification was further enhanced by Martin Brundle himself when he first bought the car from us and is today an extremely capable and desirable V12 E-Type. The chosen specification includes our high tech adjustable dampers which Martin has, of course, now tuned to perfection himself.
