Back in 1961, the E-type set a completely new standard in performance and comfort, and a shape that most agree can never be surpassed.

The expectations of today’s drivers far outweigh those of motorists in 1961, and we have developed a selection of upgrade menus which enhance the fabulous original design, but never dilute the spirit of the original. It is worth remembering that many of the items we offer, such as 5 speed gearboxes (which we manufacture in-house) were tested in in early E-type prototypes, and that during the 1961-1975 E-type manufacturing span, Jaguar themselves progressively tried to rectify the shortcomings of earlier cars, as new know-how and technology emerged.
