Creating an Eagle E-Type takes time – the 4,000 or so hours it takes to build it, and the thirty years of experience needed to do it perfectly.
From selection of the original Jaguar E-Type through to engineering, construction, testing and final sign-off, everything is done ‘in-house’ here at Eagle by our dedicated team of craftsmen and engineers.What we consider ‘standard’ others see as ‘exceptional’.
Careful Selection
The ultimate result needs a good foundation to build on. We choose a suitable original E-Type from our extensive stock to ensure the highest quality is achieved when completed.
Disassembly & Appraisal
Our expert team carefully dismantle the original E-Type. Every single part is individually assessed and any necessary work undertaken to come up to the standard required for an Eagle E-Type.
Bespoke Remanufactured Body
A hand-built bespoke and structurally reinforced bodyshell is reconstructed by our team. Around 1,100 hours later it’s ready for our paint shop.
Paintwork & Finishing
The bodyshell is prepared using state-of-the- art materials and then finished to the highest possible standard. It’s treated throughout with the latest anti-corrosion and paintwork- protection treatments.
Eagle Upgrades
We work closely with you to define how you plan to use your car, how you will drive it, whether you have any other specific requirements. Only then can we propose a uniquely tailored package.
Perfecting the Engine
The engine is fastidiously reworked by our dedicated expert technicians, then rebuilt to your specification using only the finest quality parts.
Bringing it all together
The Eagle is painstakingly assembled in a pristine workshop that has been described as ‘a cross between an operating theatre and an art gallery’.
Road Test & Sign Off
Each Eagle undergoes comprehensive road testing by our experts and thorough final tuning before sign-off by our team. Only then is your Eagle ready for you.
