Eagle E-Types

The Eagle Process

Total Attention to Detail

The story of an Eagle E-Type begins with the identity and heart of an original E-Type – the engine, gearbox, axle and suspension are carefully dismantled and painstakingly reconstructed so that they not only sparkle, but also are mechanically as good as new.

These components are then mated with a gleaming new steel monocoque body, constructed at Eagle using the latest anti-corrosion techniques before undergoing a paint process that optimises appearance and durability.

Each car is assembled using the highest quality components – either to its original specification (using new or as-new-condition parts), or, in the case of areas such as suspension, braking, cooling, heating, fuel supply, lighting and electrical systems, upgraded to meet contemporary standards of reliability and performance.

We also specifically address any vulnerable areas: the exhaust system is changed to stainless steel, for example; brass is used for the header tank and any rubber parts are replaced with silicone, polyurethane or neoprene.

All Eagle E-Types retain their original period identity and registration, and are supplied complete with a numbered Eagle chassis plaque, Jaguar and Eagle handbooks and a tailored Eagle cover.
