A highly appealing Series 1 roadster in Opalescent Dark Green and having just undergone extensive Eagle upgrading.

This was already an exceptional rust free Californian E-Type with just 17,400 miles when imported to the UK in 1991. Having spent many years dormant in America, time had however taken its toll on its overall brightness and presentation so the entire car was re-finished on arrival to our shores. No nut was left unturned and it stands today in supreme condition.
During restoration the body was stripped back to bare-metal and it received a repaint in the beautiful original colour. It also benefitted from a cavity wax program that has maintained the bodywork in perfect condition.
The engine, and in fact all the mechanicals, were comprehensively stripped as cautionary measure due to its time idle and they were all discovered to be in perfect order. It was expertly re-assembled having been thoroughly examined, cleaned and tweaked as beneficial and, as with the bodywork, the components have all been fettled and finished to a better standard than when it passed through the Jaguar factory gates in 1966.

We’ve known and looked after this car for a number of years and upgraded it to our hugely capable GT specification for the previous owner, who has since decided to take the plunge and commission a full Eagle E-Type restoration.
Now back with us for sale we took the opportunity to take this Roadster to the next level by rounding the specification up with a number of our desirable Sport and SuperSport options. With the engine and gearbox out for these works, it seemed only right to go through both and fully rebuild to our Eagle standard too.
As you can see from the specification list below, this is now a comprehensively Eagle Engineered E-Type and is ready for enjoyment this summer.
The history is well documented since the restoration and every MOT is present which confirms the mileage today of just 34,825 miles from new.
It has been rebuilt as right hand drive but can very easily be converted back to left if desired.
