A comprehensively restored right-hand drive V12 Roadster, upgraded to 6.0-litre specification.

  • Built in February 1974, this E-Type was one of the last right-hand drive roadsters before the final run of 50 Commemorative editions.

    In 1986 the Roadster was acquired by Geoffrey Davidson, who would go on to use the car as his daily driver for almost 18 years, before commissioning a full restoration in 2003. M&C Wilkinson was entrusted with a fastidious and photo-documented restoration, with invoices on file totalling over £120,000.

    A top-class paint job by DMR returned the body to its factory Signal Red colour and the Trim Centre beautifully re-trimmed the black interior.

    During the works the opportunity arose to upgrade the specification and utilise a later-specification 6.0-litre Jaguar V12 engine. In addition to this larger capacity engine a Plus Torque kit, fuel injection and an enhanced ECU have increased performance to an estimated 375bhp.

  • Wider wheels, uprated dampers and a touring axle ratio superbly compliment the enhanced power to result in a fabulous driver’s V12 Roadster; a car made all the more useable and practical with the addition of a removable hard top.

    Having covered just 2,000 miles since the completed works, this magnificent E-Type remains in outstanding order and is just waiting to be used & enjoyed.
