1962 Series 1 Roadster - Eagle No.36

A highly specified Eagle Roadster, upgraded to Sport specification and available immediately. Originally built in 1962, the bespoke Eagle restoration of this E-Type was commissioned in 2013 and completed in 2016.

Built to our full Eagle Sport specification and incorporating many of our SuperSport upgrades, which can be seen in full below, this E-Type has been engineered to be both highly capable on twisty hillside roads and as civilised & comfortable as possible in traffic for its original owner in LA.

The original 3.8-litre engine has been fully rebuilt & enhanced, mated to our bespoke 5-speed gearbox and is now kept cool by our ultimate aluminium radiator package. Ohlins dampers and our revised suspension geometry keep the wider tyres in better touch with the tarmac, while retaining Jaguar’s legendary ride comfort and the inimitable spirit of an E-Type.

Upon completion Eagle E-Type No.36 was delivered to the gorgeous Province of Rimini for the owners to enjoy the stunning ‘Modena Cento Ore’ driving tour of Italy. Having completed the tour faultlessly amongst a grid of equally impressive machines, Eagle 36 returned to Eagle for its first service ahead of delivery. The owner has now commissioned a Spyder GT with us providing this opportunity to avoid our waiting list and experience one of the world’s very best Jaguar E-Types on a driving tour of your own immediately.

A few years after completion the car returned to us for further upgrades including our Eagle air conditioning system, speed sensitive electronically-assisted power steering and infotainment system. This car really does have everything you would want for a long road trip!

It is currently right-hand drive, it can be delivered anywhere worldwide and converted to left-hand drive if required. It can also be further tailored to match a new owner’s precise requirements as desired.

Highly specified, finished in the universally popular colour scheme of Anthracite over Red and with just 4,415 miles covered since completion, Eagle 36 is a very special Jaguar E-Type indeed.
