Built in November 1973, supplied new to Saville Motors in February 1974 and purchased from H.R. Owen, this Jaguar E-Type found its first home with a most exacting customer.
The account of his ownership present in the comprehensive history file details his ‘horror’ at finding that 40 miles had been added to the odometer during the first service road test at Jaguar, and that someone other than himself had washed the car.
Such fastidious care and attention for over 20 years meant that, when he eventually parted with the V12 in 1995, just under 6,000 miles were on the odometer. Subsequent ownership has added under a further 3,000 miles.
As part of our Eagle Upgrades programme we supplied the car to its last owner with bespoke engineering and options taking it beyond our Eagle Classic specification.
This is an exceptionally well documented example with a near complete set of MOTs, maintenance records and owners books.
Quite possibly a unique V12 E-Type that is ready to be enjoyed.
