    A late-specification 3.8-litre roadster, this car joined a museum in around 1984, where it was preserved impeccably for the best part of 30 years. Originality on this level is increasingly hard and almost impossible to find; just 51,346 original miles are shown on the odometer.

    Amazingly still displaying its original factory Opalescent Dark Green paintwork and Suede Green upholstery, this E-Type’s condition is evocative and its story told through each crease in the leather or darkened grain in the steering wheel.
