An astoundingly well preserved E-Type Coupe, with just 48,804 miles from new, and engineered to Eagle Classic specification.

A real favourite among the Eagle team for its beautiful balance of originality and subtly enhanced usability, this captivating E-Type Coupe is now available for sale for just the second time in 52 years.

Dispatched from Jaguar in May 1967 the E-Type arrived with its first owner in time for summer, the honey beige Coupe undoubtedly a significant upgrade over the Mk2 it replaced. During a special 31-year ownership, which saw the E-Type reserved for occasional journeys, the car covered just 45,482 miles before the owner passed away and his son inherited it in 1998.

And it was with this same family that the car would remain until we supplied to the current owner in 2013.

It was at this time we conducted a full mechanical rebuild, with the brief to preserve as much of this highly original car as possible while ensuring that it could continue to be used and thoroughly enjoyed.

The matching numbers engine and gearbox were both fully rebuilt, as was the rear suspension unit. Along the way the specification was subtly enhanced to our Classic specification, with a number of handpicked GT and Sport upgrades chosen for ultimate reliability, usability and peace of mind.

As such the car now features a beautifully curated list of options, as you can see from the full specification below, while still oozing endless charm and character.

A large part of that character can be felt while sat in the all-original cabin, with the distinctive smell of the Connolly hide and the beautifully aged finishes creating a real time warp experience.

Now, with only 2,035 miles since our full mechanical works and having been looked after by our specialist team since 2013, this enchanting E-Type Coupe is ready for someone to become just it’s third owner.
