An exceedingly well-appointed Coupe, ideally equipped for reliable and enjoyable touring.
First acquired by Eagle in 2012, this fabulous 4.2 litre Series One E-Type has been in our care ever since and has undergone a program of tailored upgrading to transform the specification to be ultimately capable for touring.
The full list of upgrades is detailed below and highlights include a 5-speed gearbox, our uprated cooling system, enhanced brakes and our bespoke air conditioning system – the latter being a hugely valuable option, especially in a Fixed-Head Coupe.
A full bare-metal restoration, repaint and re-trim were completed in 2011 and the exemplary condition of the car today is testament to the works carried out. Finished in the beautiful colour of Opalescent Dark Blue and upholstered in Red, the result is pure 1960s elegance.
Built within the first few weeks of 1966, this E-Type was destined for the UK home market and as such is one of just 1,473 Series One 4.2-litre Right-Hand Drive Coupes built. The three volume history files comprehensively detail this car’s story, right back to the original green logbook with which this car was issued upon first registration in April 1966.
Significantly improved and meticulously maintained by Eagle over a number of years, this Coupe offers the perfect opportunity to have a sensational E-Type immediately.
