On Tuesday we attended the Jaguar Enthusiast Club (JEC) annual Goodwood track day. We brought along a display of some of our latest and greatest restorations.

The Eagle lineup included two recently completed projects in the form of Lightweight GT No.2 and Low Drag GT No.7 as well as Eagle No.17 which is currently back with us for sale. We also had a selection of important Jaguar race cars from our historic fleet including the Le Mans ‘Winning’ XJ220-C, XJR-6 and our E-type 3.8 lightweight. The lineup sat in front of the Jackie Stewart pavilion and certainly proved to be the centre of attention!

Our 3.8 E-type Lightweight has been completely restored to current FIA specification and possesses an excellent contemporary competition history including a win at the Algarve Classic Festival in 2016. It looks right at home at Goodwood and would make a perfect entry to the prestigious RAC TT celebration. You can find out more here.

The day saw hundreds of Jaguar drivers gather to take to the circuit or simply just park up and enjoy watching others putting cars through their paces on track. There were Jaguars of all shapes and sizes in attendance, from some of the earliest XKs and Mk1s to the very latest F-types and everything in between.

It was a privilege to have the opportunity to lead the parade laps with our three Eagle cars followed by a line up of Jaguar’s greatest hits including R9R, the first XJR-15 prototype.

We are also happy to be attending the Jaguar Summer Festival in July to celebrate the joint 40th anniversary of both Eagle and the JEC. The event will be held at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon and we will have a selection of Eagle E-type models on display.
