  At just 930kg the Lightweight GTR is more than 30% lighter than an E-Type Roadster. Achieved through thoughtful engineering and the extensive use of magnesium, inconel, titanium, carbon fibre, aluminium, and lithium, the dramatic reduction in unsprung mass offers exceptional agility, ride compliance and precision.

  This process has resulted in an E-type that exhibits all of Eagle's legendary commitment to comfort and solidity yet pushes the envelope with regard to weight and performance. The aluminium 4.7 litre straight six provides a power to weight ratio in excess of 430bhp per ton - offering a thrilling driving experience.

Form Follows Function

Bespoke detailing and key decisions have been driven by the client. This ability to truly define core features and style is what makes each Eagle truly unique - and what makes this Lightweight GTR truly a '1 of 1'.

Every body line of the original has been carefully re-sculpted for a more purposeful, hunkered stance. The GTR features bespoke raked glass, a lowered roofline, and exquisite craftsmanship throughout from precise panel gaps to hidden weather seals and a flush-bonded rear screen. Distinctive bespoke details include painted badge work beneath the lacquer, a flush-mounted aluminium fuel cap, and auxiliary switches integrated into the bulkhead.

Saving Weight, Developing Performance.

The Lightweight GTR’s all-aluminium 4.7 litre straight-six with wide-angle head, titanium con-rods, and triple Weber carburettors develops a power to weight ratio in excess of 430 bhp/ton. All transmission casings are magnesium and the exhaust system is constructed from inconel and titanium.

The independent suspension geometry is revised, hardware including hubs has been remanufactured from titanium, and the dampers are adjustable Öhlins in conjunction with bespoke spring rates. Brake discs and pads are carbon-ceramic and utilise servo assisted AP Racing callipers. The titanium con-rods raise the rev ceiling by 500 rpm making it easier to enjoy and exploit its distinctive power band through gear changes. With a kerb weight of just 975kg with fluids, the GTR delivers stunning performance and wonderful agility.

Inside

The interior is stripped back with intent and precisely follows the client's objectives and desires.

The GTR  is trimmed in black Alcantara with a race-car minimalist aesthetic. Lightweight aluminium seats echo period racing designs and are paired with four-point harnesses and an integrated fire suppression system. A floating binnacle houses auxiliary switches, hewn from platinum with Mother of Pearl inlays, and features a magnetic phone dock for convenience. 

Heated glass, air conditioning, and carefully considered sound and heat insulation ensure long-distance comfort remains uncompromised.
